Being Human – Are We Really ?

Being Human – Are We Really ?

It was 3 O’clock in afternoon, a dull mundane day at office (hope you have heard about THE SLOWDOWN” we were suffering from same virus) A normal activity checking social media on phone. A few seconds of serious thought which actually inspired me to write today after long here. Though we all know this, it’s a common topic; we crib about it in group discussions but yet follow the same.

The thought that Human Being (Homosapiens –Our biological Name)   is a social Animal, we all have a social life, interactions with each other, chatting, sharing, commenting, expressing ourselves, crying, laughing, giggling, and sobbing and we “used to” express in person all this with our close circle of people.

The so called Social Animal still socializes but virtually. We express check, gossip, laugh (LOL.)  Cry, sob, anger, happiness, sadness all through EMOJIS on our smart phones. In person we pass by each other with blank looks, faces, expressions but as soon as we take the idiot gadget in hand we start expressing ourselves to a person who isn’t physically present with us and totally ignoring the person standing next to us.  Even after being gifted with so much of Brains this species has lost its sanity.

·         We all have become mentally handicap. We don’t think much and put efforts to think because Google has spoiled us. We go to Google for each and every query of life.
·         We don’t approach new people and go and start interactions with strangers because we are loaded with our FB Friends. Sitting at home we make new friends, Friends who will send us emojis to show that they are happy and sad with you but they are actually not but they do it thinking it’s their virtual world responsibility.

·         We don’t visit friends and relatives with a personal visit for how are they doing? The Whats up STATUS and INSTAGRAM FB Stories and FB Posts tell us a lot about their life on daily basis. We viewed it and our social duty is over J

·         We no longer do shopping the way our mothers used to do, we scroll, flip, select, cancel, order, like, dislike. Thanks to Online shopping Sites and Shopping POP Ups on all the social media sites. I real times miss my mother’s bargaining Skills. Trust me even the old Sabjiwala of your mohalla must be missing that hardcore bargaining by your mother or dadi or nani. He must be feeling so bored with a minimum interaction with just Kitne kilo? And kitna hua? Sentences by US, yes WE the today’s generation who are too busy to bargain and waste time chatting with poor sabjiwla.

·         We don’t go and invite people personally to our family events and functions? No More yes.. Hahaha.. Are you kidding? We have Flyer Invites to just send it to loads over what’s up. I have invited so many people.Yet very less turn up. I m sure only 20 % of the people you actually invited within seconds.

·         Interactions and conversations have just ended , Good friends don’t meet , chat, share regularly because they think it’s not important , abhi do dekha use online , status dekh liya , nothing new to explore. So there is no need to meet.

·         We keep a track and a check on each other virtually because you all meet each other daily, within minutes and seconds, we keep a virtual check on each other obviously not out of concern. We feel forced mentally to show ourselves happy virtually to the world. No one has time to call you, Stop you, meet you and ask you “How are you Buddy?”

Have many such recent experience with people to share but I might not share them here as after reading this they might virtually block me from their life hahaahah..LOL…

Something bad happening is caught recorded live and circulated between lakhs instead of stopping the deed and not letting it happen. The insensitive App W…UP is full of such videos A school teacher beating a kid, some injustice happening with a women, accident happening on road , and many more such events are recorded live with lot of peace and enjoyment … and then circulated to disturb people in their work to watch and respond …
I love the tag line of Salman’s Personal  Brand “ Being Human” Lakhs of Youngster flaunt the tag on their T-shirts .. But are we really left with Humanity?
Are we really Human?

We are a lost yet we are Progressing.

P.S -Just few personal quick thoughts I shared. It’s an endless topic and I can go on and on this and I think many of us can. But we don’t have time. Let me not blame others, I also don’t have time to express and to write which I love. I did it after long. Thanks to the “SLOWDOWN” Opps!!

Cheers!
