The Road was getting worst in every 5 metre . Infact there was no road at all , I guess only animals used that route to commute not vehicles for sure .It was pitch dark except the lights from the head lights of our car. The google map was confusing and we could not do much to the sweet voice of the google aunty audible on our Bluetooth speaker of our car . My husband was cursing me to choose this resort for our Holiday.
Since I had recommended it and managed the coordination I was also feeling embarrassed for our friends who were following us on the way to reach the same destination.
Yes it was this Jan 2021 when like all the other frustrated humans we decide to take a quick break from this corona world and have some peaceful time at some far of resort in rajasthan.
Finally there was a dead end, our car was stuck. We were helpless and finally spotted a boy from the same village who volunteered to help. Looking at my expressions and may be my restless ness to reach the resort, he asked us to allow him to sit in the car and guide them. Me and abhishek (My husband looked at each other and exchanged the “ no other way to escape” kind of of signal through our tired eyes .
The boy happily sat inside the car at the backseat …and it took me less than 10 seconds to sense correctly that this chap had not taken bath since days.. , thank god I am good at controlling my breathing . I didn’t wished to smell more and freezed my nose to just quietly follow his instructions. Abhishek was equally suffocated and he opened the window glasses for the escape. My twin toddlers were bold enough to frankly comment “ mamma , something is stinging badly” I didn’t react.
After about 10 minutes drive we finally reached our resort and felt some relief . like a good human despite of the suffocation we suffered due to his body odour , abhishek and e decided to hand him over a 100 Rs. Obviously for saving our time and guiding us to our resort.
With a lot of dilemmas we entered the resort as , I just wished the resort must be good atleast now .
To our surprise it was exactly the way we wished . Surrounded by mountains, beautiful , peaceful and clean. Chilly whether added to the beauty . We had a good time that night with music , bonfire, dance , delicious dinner and a good sleep. We were excited about the morning view.
I had sat the alarm to enjoy the morning sight . 6.15 am tring tring alarm sets on.

I woke up , covered myself with a jacket , cap and mask , wore my sports shoes and walked out.
It was breathtaking view from our balcony. The step by step rising Sun and foggy mountains all around. The Wet floor , trees , leaves , not because it rained but it was the mist , fresh mist almost on everything . The silence was so soothing , the only sound i could hear was of the birds.
Different variety of birds , different sounds , some eating their breakfast and a few cuddling each other. I was taking this walk all around the resort and as I stepped out of the gate , I was delighted to see my friend Payal who was already up may be earlier then me. Being Nature lovers we both decided to go for a quick walk around the village.
Tea comes in our mind the first thing in morning . Both of us addicted tea lovers , we wished some villagers to offer us some fresh tea. With the same intention and to experience the village life we entered a house in the village full of kids , elders, older people and few pet goat and Cows . We noticed their simple life , they were all delighted to host us for the morning tea and got clicked with us.
We both were keen to know their routine , we entered their hut and found a lady making chapatis this early in the morning near a handmade Chulla as they call it. Our tea was also freshly made on the same Chulla. We were just admiring the sight ,surrounded by kids, we also got clicked with the cute lambs. The villagers were looking at us surprisingly and we definitely felt like being local celebrities for them.
The rest of the day went on in relaxing , having good food, lazing around, playing with kids , enjoying the nature , chit- chatting till late night, bon fire , cherishing old memories , 80s songs sitting in our room balconies .
We had a bliss full 2 days, and it was time to return to the hustle bustle city life again. Trust me , we didn’t want the holiday to end. Such time spent makes memories for life time .
